I've been thinking a lot lately about the World of Warcraft and in what ways the game can move forward. It's a gigantic ship now, there's so much content and moving pieces in it that any drastic change is unlikely to happen. For instance, WoW isn't likely to just up and throw away leveling in favor of an EVE Online or Elder Scrolls type system.
However that doesn't mean that large change isn't possible. Raiding is one of the favorites to change over time, with new social structures being put in place around the end-game every couple of expansions it seems like. Other major changes are possible in the side games that WoW has, like professions and the recently introduced pet battles. These types of changes are big in their own regard, but at the same time only impact a segment of the game -- one that not everyone takes part in.

As previously announced
As previously announced, we’ve been working toward connecting realms to increase the number of players on low-population realms,
and since then have completed several connections. As a part of our ongoing communication, we wanted to provide you with an update that contains a list of completed realm connections,
currently planned connections, and any additional future plans in one convenient location.
Please note this list does not encompass all potential future connections. Please check back for further updates.

Even in the context of that interview
Didn’t Josh admit during an interview that these were not separate teams? It’s the same guys just switching hats.
Nevalistis: Even in the context of that interview, this isn’t entirely accurate. It’s really an issue of semantics,
and I see why there’s confusion.
They are separate teams in terms of platform goals and resources, but they’re all part of the greater “Diablo team,” as they’re both working on the same IP.

Button bloat is a problem
So here we are. Button bloat is a problem. Blizzard isn't looking to cut us all down to Diablo III levels,
just to thin down our current bar setups. I happen to play a class as my main that is on their radar for having too many buttons,
hence why I posted my (now kind of old) UI as the header image -- I play a restoration shaman. We have a lot of buttons. Since the totem changes with Mists of Pandaria, we actually have over 22 abilities with cooldowns to keep an eye on, outside of our healing abilities.
This is a bit much.

Most of my time was spent meeting
Every week, WoW Insider brings you The Light and How to Swing It for holy, protection and retribution paladins.
Seasoned ret paladin Dan Desmond is here to answer your questions and provide you with your biweekly dose of retribution medicine.
Wow, what a weekend. Not only was the convention a lot of fun but it was great to meet fellow paladins and non-paladins alike.
Most of my time was spent meeting people, watching panels, and playing demos. Amidst the chaos I didn't allocate much time to mulling things over, how the proposed changes in Warlords of Draenor would affect how I, and so many other ret paladins, approach the game,
so now that I've had a decent night's sleep and my liver is mostly alcohol-free, I'm spending my day off in blessedly quiet reflection.

The most famous brewhound
The Alterac Brew Pup is a hardy friend who’s always ready to lend a paw or revitalizing swig of “good cheer” to anyone in need.
Bred for rescue duty, the Alterac brewhound's bloodline is famous for having found and resuscitated many mountain travelers trapped beneath the snow . . . and then slobbering all over them.
The most famous brewhound of all is Bernard, credited with saving upwards of 50 lives—many of them dwarf and orc soldiers dragged out of the snow beneath the treacherous bridges
of Alterac Valley.
